NEET MDS 2024 exam postponed

Outline:

NBEMS postponed NEET MDS 2024 exam to March 18, 2024. Aspirants can check the official notice on natboard.edu.in. Cut-off date for eligibility is March 31, 2024. Some students demand exam to be held in July and have been expressing their disappointment on social media.

As per the official notice, NEET MDS 2023 examination, which was earlier notified to be tentatively held on February 9, 2024, stands rescheduled. The examination will now be conducted on March 18, 2024. The cut-off date for the purpose of eligibility to appear in the NEET-MDS 2024 shall be March 31, 2024.

The exam comprises of 240 Multiple Choice Questions with each question having 4 response options/ distractors in English language only. Candidates are required to select the correct/best/most appropriate response/answer out of the 4 response options provided in each question. Time allotted is 3 hrs.

NEET MDS 2024 Important Dates and Events:

NEET MDS dates are scheduled for around two months and include various events such as application, application correction, admit card, exam and result. Let us take a look at each of these events along with the tentative schedule.

NEET MDS 2024 Exam Date Announcement: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) announced the postponed NEET MDS 2024 exam date on January 20, 2024. Earlier, the tentative exam date, February 9, 2024, was announced on November 9, 2023. However, the exam date was postponed.  

NEET MDS 2024 Application Process: The application form for NEET MDS 2024 will be released anytime soon, tentatively in the first week of February 2024. The application window is likely to be active for approximately a month. Candidates must ensure that they fill and submit the NEET MDS application form 2024 within the last date as NBE may not extend the application deadline.

NEET MDS 2024 Application Correction Window: The NEET MDS 2024 application correction window will be open after approximately a week of closing the application process. Candidates will be allowed to make changes in certain fields. This will help candidates get their candidature cancelled on account of entering incorrect details. 

NEET MDS 2024 Admit Card: The admit card or the hall ticket of NEET MDS 2024 will be released online few weeks before the exam, which is the first week of March 2024. The NEET MDS 2024 admit card will be an important document carrying candidates' personal details and information regarding the NEET MDS 2024 exam centre name and address, exam day instructions and guidelines. The NEET MDS admit card 2024 has to be carried to the exam centre on the day of the exam, without which candidates will not be allowed 

NEET MDS 2024 Exam: The exam date of NEET MDS 2024 is March 18, 2024. It is a single-day and slot exam which will be held from 9 AM to 12 noon. The exam will be held in a computer-based mode. 

NEET MDS 2024 Result: The result of NEET MDS 2024 will be declared on March 31, 2024, three to four weeks after the exam date.NBE will release the NEET MDS 2024 result in an online mode, in the form of a merit list and scorecard. At first, the merit list will be released, wherein candidates can check their overall score and rank. The NEET MDS scorecards will be released later which candidates will have to download from the official website by logging in with their registration credentials. NBE will release the NEET MDS cutoff along with the result.

The NEET MDS 2024 exam consists of 240 Multiple Choice Questions, each having four response options or distractors, all presented in the English language.
