NEET 2024 application form to be released soon.

The NEET 2024 exam date is May 5, 2024. The National Testing Agency (NTA), the exam conducting body, announced the exam date in September 2023. No other date regarding the NEET 2024 exam has been released yet. The NEET 2024 application form will be released tentatively in the fourth week of January 2024, along with the information brochure and detailed notification. However, no official confirmation regarding the NEET 2024 registration date is there yet. Some of the media reports also suggest the commencement of the NEET form fill up 2024 in the first week of March 2024, like last year. 

The closing date for the submission of NEET 2024 application forms will be announced shortly.

What is NEET Exam?

The National Eligibility Entrance Test (Undergraduate) or NEET (UG), formerly the All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT), is an all India pre-medical entrance test for students who wish to pursue undergraduate medical (MBBS), dental (BDS) and AYUSH (BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, etc.) courses in government and private institutions in India and also, for those intending to pursue primary medical qualification abroad.

How to fill NEET Application Form 2024?

The NEET 2024 application form filling process will be completely online. The process is divided into three to four steps, which are as follows:

Filling up NEET Registration 2024 form and generating the password

Logging in with the NEET 2024 registration details such as username and password 

Filling the NEET form

Document Upload

Payment of Fees

Step 1: Registration

Visit the official website of NTA NEET or neet.nta.nic.in 

Click on “Fill Registration Form” or the invitation for NEET Registration 2024

Click on 'New Registration' and read the instructions

Enter the following details on the NEET UG application form 2024:

Candidate’s Name

Mother’s name

Father’s name

Date of birth

Category

Gender

Nationality

Persons with Disability

Identification Type

Identification Number

Mobile number

Email Id

Password

Enter Security Pin

Step 2: Filling up NEET Application Form 2024

Click on “Click here to login”

Login using the application number and password

The NEET form 2024 will open on your screen

Details entered during the registration process will be pre-filled in the application and cannot be changed

Step 3: Upload scanned images

Click on “Upload your recent documents”

Select the files to be uploaded

Click on “Next”

Step 4: Make Payment

Select the desired mode of payment (SBI/Syndicate/HDFC/ICICI/Paytm Payment Gateway through Debit Card/Credit Card/Net-banking/UPI)

Applicants must ensure that they complete the process within the NEET 2024 registration date as stated by NTA. Beyond that, they may not get a second chance to fill the NEET application form 2024.

Documents Required for NEET 2024 Application Form

The table below brings the list of documents and files to be uploaded while filling out the NEET form 2024.

Passport size and postcard size (both)

The photograph must not be older than 3 months

Name of the candidate and date must be printed below the photograph

Signature of the candidate in black ink on white background

Left-hand thumb impression

Should be on white paper with blue ink

The scanned copy of Class 10 Pass certificate has to be uploaded

The scanned copy of permanent and present address proof has to be uploaded

The citizenship certificate or the embassy certificate is required to prove the nationality of the candidates.
