The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is an engineering entrance assessment conducted for admission to various engineering colleges in India. It is constituted by two different.examinations: the JEE-Main and the JEE-Advanced.The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) conducts the joint admission process for a total of 23 Indian Institutes of Technology,31 National Institutes of Technology, 25 Indian Institutes of Information Technology campuses and other Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs) based on the rank obtained by a student in JEE-Main or JEE-Advanced, depending on the engineering college.There are some institutes, such as the Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISERs), the Indian Institute of Petroleum and Energy (IIPE), the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT), the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST), and the Indian.Institute of Science (IISc), which use the score obtained in the JEE-Advanced examination as the basis for admission,[2][3] but are not a part of the Joint Seat Allocation Authority.(JoSAA) counselling process. Any student who takes admission to an Indian Institute of Technology cannot appear for the JEE-Advanced examination again, but the same is not the case.with NIT, IISc, IISERs, RGIPT, IIPE, and IIST.

JEE Main Application Form 2023


JEE Main Application Form 2023 - NTA has released the JEE Main 2023 registration form online on the IIT JEE Main official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. The direct link to fill the 
application form of JEE Main 2023 is activated only at jeemain.nta.nic.in 2023. NTA has announced the JEE Mains 2023 exam dates along with the JEE Mains 2023 brochure. The JEE Main 
2023 session 1 will be conducted on January 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30 and 31, 2023 and JEE Main 2023 exam for session 2 will be conducted on April 06, 08, 10, 11, 12 2023. The JEE Main 
2023 application form for session 2 will be released on February 7.

JEE Main 2023: Exam Date (Out)

JEE Main 2023 - NTA has announced the JEE Main 2023 exam dates at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The session 1 of JEE Main exam 2023 will be conducted on January 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30, and 31 , 
while the second phase will be held on April 06, 08, 10, 11 and 12. Moreover, the JEE Main 2023 application form session 1 is now available at jeemain.nta.nic.in 2023. Candidates should 
check the JEE Main 2023 eligibility criteria in the JEE Main 2023 brochure.

What After Filling JEE Main application form 2023?

After submitting the JEE Mains 2023 registration form, candidates have to download a copy of the application form for future use. Candidates who want to change their choice of 
exam centre will not be able to edit the application form. Only candidates whose JEE Main 2023 application form is submitted correctly and on time will be able to download the 
JEE Main 2023 admit card at the official website- jeemain.nta.nic.in.
 

How to Check Status of JEE Main Application Form 2023?

Students will receive messages on their registered email address and mobile number on the successful submission of IIT JEE 2023 application form. However, if students want to 
check the application status, they can login to their candidate portal using the application number and password. Students can check the status of their filled JEE Main 2023 
application form to have confirmation on the final submission of JEE Main 2023 form. Students will see the status of their JEE Main application form 2023 upon login.


Steps to retrieve JEE Main 2023 Password

Open JEE Main 2023 official website @ jeemain.nat.nic.in.

Click on the candidate login link.

Click on the forgot password link.

Enter JEE Main 2023 application number and date of birth.

Students will receive their password in their registered email address/mobile number.

In case students do not remember their JEE Main 2023 application form number, they can check their email address and mobile number. NTA sends the details of the application 
number to the candidate's mobile number and email address. Alternatively, they can also check the downloaded copy of their JEE Main 2023 application form. In case no option is 
working, they can contact the NTA helpdesk over the phone or write to them through email to get the JEE Main 2023 application number.

 


JEE Main 2023: 75% eligibility criteria

Age Criteria
For appearing in the JEE (Main) – 2023, there is no age limit for the candidates. The candidates who have passed the class 12/equivalent examination in 2021, 2022, or appearing in 
2023 irrespective of their age can appear in JEE (Main) – 2023 examination. However, the candidates may be required to fulfill the age criteria of the Institute(s) to which they 
are desirous of taking admission.


List of Qualifying Examinations 

The final examination of the 10+2 system, conducted by any recognized Central/ State Board, such as the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi; Council for the Indian 
School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi; etc.
Intermediate or two-year Pre-University examination conducted by a recognized Board/ University.
Final examination of the two-year course of the Joint Services Wing of the National Defence Academy.
Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Institute of Open Schooling with a minimum of five subjects.
Any Public School/ Board/ University examination in India or any foreign country is recognized as equivalent to the 10+2 system by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
Higher Secondary Certificate Vocational Examination.
A Diploma recognized by AICTE or a State board of technical education of at least 3 years duration.
General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level.
High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva.
Candidates who have completed the Class 12 (or equivalent) examination outside India or from a Board not specified above should produce a certificate from the Association of 
Indian Universities (AIU) to the effect that the examination they have passed is equivalent to the Class 12 Examination.
In case the Class 12 Examination is not a public examination, the candidate must have passed at least one public (Board or Pre-University) examination earlier.

Year of Appearance in Qualifying Examination
Only those candidates who have passed the Class 12/equivalent examination in 2021, 2022, or those who are appearing in Class 12/equivalent examination in 2023, are eligible to appear in JEE (Main) – 2023.
Candidates who passed the Class 12/equivalent examination in 2020 or before as well as those who will appear in such examination in 2024 or later are not eligible to appear in JEE (Main) – 2023.
